We as a family take Gods calling seriously in our lives. We take great joy in doing Gods work. Though it may be hard at times, we still can rejoice in Christ. We have already purchased our plane tickets to fly over to Papua New Guinea on Aug. 27, 2008. Praise God! His mercy endureth forever!! We are a family of seven. I have five daughters , no sons! =) We had been serving together in downtown Charleston S.C. for 6 years. While there God prepared us for deputation and even being on the mission field.   I have my testimony down below. I thank the Lord for everything he was done for us.

Niels Testimony

Like all men , I was born a sinner, into a world of sin. I was raised in a religious environment full of sin. I was taught at an early age that Christ came into the world to die for mankind's sin. It took 31 years for me to see me as God saw me. I was told I received Christ at 4 on my mother's lap and I remember being baptized at 7. I remember a time when I was 12 and praying to God, but it was more for the situation than to repent of my sins. During my 9Th-12Th grade years I worked with my Dad in the Bakery and paid to go to a private Christian School. Supposedly, I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at age 17( evidenced by 'speaking in tongues'). This kept me deceived for years.

I joined the Marine Corps upon graduating High School an was in an out of church for years but deeper and deeper in sin. In 1985 I started attending a Church of God and by 1991, I was pastoring a Church of God in California. A Pentecostal friend of mine had started attending a Baptist church in Beaufort, SC and after talking to his pastor one Saturday evening,I resigned my church the following day with only $25 in my possession (1992). I realized I did not know a lot of things so I moved my wife and two children to Beaufort, SC to go to Bible School at an Independent Baptist Church. I dropped out of Bible School  after a few weeks and God began, over the next two years , to pull back my religious veil and show me what I was. Even the last week I lived as a lost man - I pulled out all the stops to live right and was failing miserably. I was hearing good preaching and was trying to live it , but couldn't.

The night I was saved we were headed to a revival meeting and before we left I went into my room and said," Father, I know your Word is true and Jesus is the only way, but it just ain't working." That night, I finally saw myself as I was, without strength, and that Jesus had, by himself, purged me of my sins. As folks were testifying at the end of the service, I finally raised my hand. The Pastor called on me, I said," I am a sinner, I need Jesus Christ!" At that very moment my burden was lifted and my conscience cleared. Oh glorious day!To have my sins forgiven. that was May 8, 1995

Since then, I went to a 3 year bible Institute and have served the LORD however He has wanted. most recently preaching the gospel of Jesus and attesting to the fact of being a new creature in Christ Jesus in the inner City of Charleston S.C. amongst the drug dealers, alcoholics, prostitutes, Muslims and more.
